NFHA Featured on WUSA9 for DC Fair Housing Investigation

In April 2018, the National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) filed a fair housing complaint with the Washington, DC, Office of Human Rights against Evolve LLC (“Evolve”).  NFHA investigated and found evidence that the company discriminated against housing choice voucher recipients. Now, after its own investigation, the DC AG’s office is filing its own complaint against Evolve, LLC, requesting a court order for emergency injunctive relief to put an end to Evolve’s housing discrimination practices. The news clip above features Lisa Rice, NFHA’s president and CEO as she explains the issue.
