Membership FAQs

NFHA has three membership categories: Operating, Supporting, and Individual.

Operating Members are nonprofit corporations or organizations primarily engaged in the achievement of fair housing.

Supporting Members are organizations, associations, entities, or government agencies that do not qualify as operating members.

Individual members are persons that do not qualify as operating members or supporting members.

Complete a member application form and submit the appropriate documents and dues indicated on the form.

Membership benefits include but are not limited to member-only briefings; discounted rates for NFHA events; technical assistance; access to exclusive publications, such as NFHA’s Fair Housing-Fair Lending Bulletin and educational materials; training; guidance on investigations; and assistance with advocacy on Capitol Hill.

Click the Members tab at the top of the homepage and choose the “Login” option on the left-hand side of the screen. Once logged into the member portal, you’ll be able to access exclusive member content.

Click the Members tab at the top of the homepage and choose the “Renew Membership” option on the left-hand side of the screen to pay your annual dues. You can also pay your annual dues by logging into the member portal and clicking the yellow “Renew Membership” button under your name at the top.

NFHA hosts or has staff participate in various events throughout the year. Check your member portal dashboard each week so you don’t miss out on any exciting events or important reminders.
