About NFHA’s Responsible AI Symposium
The National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) is proud to host the 2026 Responsible AI Symposium: Zero Gap – Aligning AI with Civil and Human Rights. We will explore the latest developments in AI and dispel the myth that there is an inherent trade-off between advancing civil rights and spurring innovation. In fact, these two goals are mutually reinforcing. When we prioritize fairness and access in technological development, we foster more trustworthy, widely beneficial innovations that better serve society.
As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes industries, communities, and public life, this Symposium convenes some of the world’s leading policymakers, technologists, civil rights experts, housing and lending professionals, regulators, and academics to explore how AI can advance fairness, expand opportunities, and promote innovation.
Building on the success of previous Symposiums, this year’s event expands its reach with an Awards Celebration reception. It also features interactive sessions, insightful panels, lively discussion, networking opportunities, a high-profile Pitch Competition, and a focus on innovation at the intersection of technology and civil rights.
