The National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) applauds recent steps taken by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to assist homeowners affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Implementing a moratorium on foreclosures and foreclosure-related evictions for at least 60 days is a good first step but more needs to be done.
