Monica Reid
Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs
Monica Reid is Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs. She joined NFHA in 2024 after serving as the Senior Director of Advocacy at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers where she led the organization’s state policy advocacy. Monica previously worked as the Legislative Assistant/Analyst of the Fairfax County Government, Office of the Fairfax County Executive, and Manager of the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce. In 2023, she completed an Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program at Yale University School of Management.
